Genuine Ford 5C3Z 7210 AAA Transmission Shifter Review

Product appeared to be well made, could not be used due to incorrect electrical connection, does not fit 2003 F2003 with towing/carrying. The port is round while the 2003 F250 has a square port.

Feels and works better than ever. The shifter is tight and precise, but most importantly, I can now shift from 4th to 3rd gear with my fingertip! I've missed this feature and it's great to have it back.

The part is brand new but unusable. The wire to connect waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa too short. I photographed the standard part (which I assembled to get my truck back) and photographed the part next to it. I can see how much longer the standard fixed part wires are than the new ones I ordered. I gave 3 starts since it was new.

Item as described. Came in original Ford packaging. A visual comparison between the new and the original showed no difference in these two knots. The selector shaft broke on my old F350. Decided to replace the assembly. This shifter is an exact replacement. Easy installation but recommend buying new pens as my original pens wore out.

I bought this for a 1997 F350 2x4. I needed everything: shifters, OD and tires. It's the wrong part, but it fits and works. This applies to new models. The cable and connector, pin and rubber cover are the same on my truck. It looks better than the old version, so I install it. "NOTE!" My 97 has an S-shaped shifter, but this one doesn't. I don't have a line around gauges and vents, so I'm not sure how close that is to friction. I've been driving for a week now with no problems. :) Maybe one day
