Fits and works perfectly on Tecumseh HMSK

Fits and works well on my Ariens snow thrower with Tecumseh HMSK80 engine. The vent system is plastic and hopefully there is no problem with the original cap if the metal vent cone breaks off and falls into the fuel tank. Red is a plus.

Works with Troy Bilt Storm 8526 Snowblower

Purchased when I lost the gas cap on my Troy Bilt Storm 8526 Snowblower. There weren't any more on the Troy Bilt website that would fit this model and I couldn't find it anywhere else to find the part number for the gas cap. Bought this blind hoping it would work and it fits perfectly.

Engine stopping problem fixed

The original cap had a metal disc inside that fell off. Sometime after that I noticed that after 30 minutes of running the engine started to die. On reboot it died much quicker. Apparently the disc was part of a venting scheme to prevent a vacuum in the tank from preventing fuel delivery. This hat solved the problem.

Fits my Craftsman snow thrower

Amazing. Last winter my snowblower started to stall. Not funny! And then the gas cap came off and I couldn't find it in the snow. I didn't have a spare so I used a zip tie to secure the face denim as the gas cap. To my surprise, the snowblower worked better and didn't stall anymore. It taught me that proper gas cap venting is a MUST. This hat works!

Great replacement for a gas cap.

The old gas cap on my snow thrower fell apart and the engine died after a few minutes. This replacement worked like a charm. Also, it looks like it's a newer type with a different layout in the lid (no more little silver cone). Overall very happy with the product. If anyone needs this information, YardMachines 8HP Snow Blower. / 24" by MTD with Tecumseh plastic tank.

Worked as expected, solved my problem with a broken cap not breathing properly

The original equipment cap failed and the silver disc fell into the gas tank requiring me to remove the tank, drain and then find a replacement cap. This new cap seems to be doing the job well as I have used the snow blower many times with no problems. It stopped "breathing" with the old cover, creating a vacuum at times and causing the snowblower to rock up and down when it ran out of fuel. Very happy with the purchase.
