Buy original: fits RX350

I have a 2008 RX350. Oil began to leak from the hole in the original rubber part of the line. When looking for a part, Revain indicated it wouldn't fit my car, but the Dorman part would. I didn't want to wait, so I went to my local auto parts store. They also said Dorman was the right part so I bought it: what a mistake. Because the tubes were bent, it was almost impossible to tighten one of the nuts: very uncomfortable. After looking good I noticed that the weld was dripping oil at the bendsโ€ฆ

But this one, not Dorman!

Buy! Don't buy the Dorman version! This fits much better and allows you to use a 1/4" deep 12mm socket on all 6 nuts and bolts for the correct torque. The Dorman version uses a 12mm wrench to adjust getting to the nut closest to the engine making it harder to torque properly resulting in oil leaks deep socket and you're done To remove the factory oil cooler with black hoses use a 12mm wrench if you don't have one deep wall outlet. On the nut closest to the motor, try installing a standard 12mm,

HIGH QUALITY DENSO OIL COOLER PART

I just bought a 2007 Lexus RX350 and noticed a small oil leak. After some research I found that the OEM oil cooler lines were made of rubber. After removing the old one and replacing it with this upgraded Denso oil cooler line, I found that this is a Dorman part ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I think the previous owner was trying to save a few bucks, the problem with the Dorman oil cooler part is that it has big welds around the metal tubes and if you tighten the nuts they won't seat properly and will leak oil around theโ€ฆ

Perfect fit (tested 15 months after purchase)

Installed February 2018 on a 2007 Sienna - Tested July 20, 2019 We had better luck than our tube went a few miles broke away from home, so no engine damage. My wife smelled of burnt oil on the freeway and called me home from work thinking something had exploded in the van (there was oil all over the undercarriage and engine bay). In any case, Googling this issue has led you to this part like others (and maybe you too). I've reviewed several suppliers but settled on this one based on YouTubeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
