I thought the gas mileage would go up but it went down a little. It was easy to stall, looks good and I felt some difference in throttle acceleration. Exhaust sounds a little different. Delivered as promised.

This genuine TRD CAI unit is far superior to the previously installed K&N system. Excellent response for my 5.7 liter engine and gas mileage has gone from 15mpg to 17mpg.

The engine sounds great but the CAI idea was already there with a factory filter as it also took air out of the wheel arch. I assume that a larger, lighter flow filter with a larger air chamber is really what you are paying for.

Installation was very easy, took me less than an hour. On a 5.7 liter V8 engine, do not cut open the engine cover. I was able to reattach the lid without using a template or cutting the lid. The noise is amazing when accelerating and I'm pretty sure it can improve gas mileage if you don't step on the accelerator. Hope that helps.
