Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries are advertised in the photo and have no storage problems. The ones sent were nickel-cadmium, which means that if you charge them until the battery is completely dead, you'll shorten their lifespan significantly. Not original OEM replacement for Uniden BT-905.

Perfect battery replacement for Uniden EXI4642T phone. I only ordered a few weeks ago, so I can't comment on the battery life. The phone warned about charging after about 30 seconds of use - putting in a new battery stopped this and now it doesn't complain even after 30 minutes of use. I don't know how long it lasts as it's rarely used for more than 30 minutes. The seller sent quickly, I am satisfied with the service and the product. I ordered two sets of these batteries (8 in total). I actually only wanted to order 4, but I misread the description when ordering. In the end it was good that I ordered 8. Most batteries have been DOA, and so far the ones that work have probably only lasted around 20 or 30 minutes without a charger. These aren't phones. Batteries that worked worked in every phone. Those that were DOA ran for nothing and couldn't hold a charge at all even after 12+ hours on a charger. I need to check a few more

The BT-905 (2) batteries I received were Ni-Cad, not NiMH as advertised. However, the original BT-800 battery in my Uniden EXA15580 cordless phone was also made of nickel-cadmium. It was an 800mAh battery and not the BT-905's 600mAh battery. The original BT-800 battery lasted over 10 years before eventually failing to charge.
