Genuine Xerox ColorQube 108R00928 / 108R928 Yellow Ink Sticks for Phaser 8570 (2 pieces per Box) Review

This product is obviously a counterfeit. The box tried to look original (albeit with Chinese characters) and was opened. Upon inspection and compared to the ones I had on hand, the color was dull and nowhere near as smooth as a Xerox OEM product. I immediately went back and ordered direct from Xerox so I wouldn't risk it again. Beware!

I just found out that they don't work in our ColorQube 8570. Same packaging and part number 108R00928. Looks authentic but doesn't work. They are in the pictures to the left. The right one in the photo works.

You put them in the printer and then print yellow things. Let's think of some yellow images that you could print right now. Sunflowers. grain bread. baby chickens. safety warning signs. Saffron. lead iodide. Egg yolk. I'm sure you can think of more, so go ahead and buy these things.

Genuine Xerox ink works well and has good color reproduction. Just make sure it's a North American printer - the clowns at Xerox sell the same for Asia, Europe, and South America, and they're not interchangeable! Bottom line: love ink, hate Xerox marketing tactics.

I doubt this is original, the Xerox print is not as sharp as it is on the Xerox product in its original box. And not the config. The bypass key is used to lock the sensor to allow ink to load. Stay away from them. I agree with other reviewers. I doubt they are legal!
