Description of German-Made HABA King Of The Dice - Exciting Skill And Luck Competition Game For Kids 8+ - Boost Your Search Engine Ranking!

You're finally a King! All your dreams have been fulfilled. You sit content in your castle and look out over your wonderful kingdom. Green meadows, rolling fields, high mountains and clear rivers stretch as far as your eyes can see. but one thing is missing from your kingdom: citizens! So you announce the merits of the kingdom all over the country – in the rich cities, to the crazy gnomes in their workshops, to the dwarves in their deep mines, and also to the orcs, fairies and the sorcerer‘s apprentices. But the citizens aren‘t easily convinced. You're finally a king! You're going to need skill and luck with the dice to entice the best citizens to your kingdom. Watch out for scoundrels and dragons. Otherwise your thriving kingdom will soon be a wretched wasteland, and you‘ll have to watch as someone else is crowned King of the Dice. Each move consists of 3 steps: (1) Roll the dice (maximum of 3 times), (2) Acquire new citizens (+ possibly establish a new village) or take a penalty card and (3) Fill up the row of cards. If you can fulfill the conditions of one of the face-up citizen cards with your dice result then you may take this card. If your dice results don't match any citizen cards, you must take a penalty/scoundrel card which comes with minus points. The person with the most victory points wins the game. If there is a tie the player with the least minus points on their cards wins. Contents Include: 6 dice, 65 game cards (15 village cards, 10 penalty cards and 40 citizen cards), 1 set of instructions.

Fun Family Game - and addictive!

I purchased this game for my 7 year old granddaughter. After watching quite a few YouTube reviews on family games, this game came highly recommended on several lists. It is a very fun game for both kids and adults. We found ourselves wanting to play it again and again. It is a game of chance, but strategic thinking comes into play. My two granddaughters, ages 7 and 9, easily understood the rules, and it has been fun observing their strategic skills and ability to think through their best game…

Pros
  • You're finally a king! You're going to need skill and luck with the dice to entice the best citizens to your kingdom. Watch out for scoundrels and dragons. Otherwise your thriving kingdom will soon be a wretched wasteland, and you‘ll have to watch as someone else is crowned King of the Dice.
Cons
  • The game requires a large playing area, which may not be feasible for some customers with limited space in their homes

Fun for any game night

Easy to learn. Fast running. Some strategy makes it equally fun for older kids/adults and for 6 yr olds. Glad we bought this game!

Pros
  • If you can fulfill the conditions of one of the face-up citizen cards with your dice result then you may take this card. If your dice results don't match any citizen cards, you must take a penalty/scoundrel card which comes with minus points.
Cons
  • The product may not be as visually appealing as other competing games, which can make it less desirable for some shoppers

Good family game - my new review

This one is a bit more complicated than lighter push your luck games such as Martian dice and King's gold, yet it's lighter than King of Tokyo's complexity level. You have interesting decisions. If you want to risk rolling for a card that is hard or try for a card with a lower score and higher chances of rolling its requirement as it will give you a town card that is worth more points. There are 3 town cards from each town so that the last town card is worth more points than it's previous one…

Pros
  • Contents Include: 6 dice, 65 game cards (15 village cards, 10 penalty cards and 40 citizen cards), 1 set of instructions.
Cons
  • The product is not widely available in stores, which can make it difficult to purchase for customers without access to online shopping

Great game for whole family.

We all loved it: kids 6, 9, and 12, twenty year olds on up to forty year olds. We all enjoyed this game at a family reunion. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • 6.3 x 6.26 x 2.17 inches
Cons
  • The game can be too simplistic for more advanced players, leading to a lack of challenge and interest in the game
