Glossy is the best for photos

Don't listen to what "the experts" say, glossy is best for photos, you lose no sharpness or detail as you do with satin or matte papers.

Pros
  • ‎12.8 ounces
Cons
  • The cost of using Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy may not be worth the investment for casual users

Good quality prints

I used this paper with an HP printer and had no issues with the print quality. They were as crisp and colorful as the actual picture. The quality of the camera will determine the quality of the printed photo.

Pros
  • I use this strictly for my photos that I print in my business. Quality is very good.
Cons
  • The paper is not compatible with all printers available in the market

Great quality. Nice!

I have an Epson ET-4760 that doesn't print the greatest on some brands of photo paper, but this Epson premium photo paper 4x6 turned out great! Saved me a trip to CVS - and way cheaper for the few photos I needed printed. Will definitely buy again. Also makes great look postcards to hand out for church events that look professionally printed. Price could be a little lower, but satisfied given prices right now and the cost of other photo paper, so it's not too bad.

Pros
  • It works well with my Canon printer.
Cons
  • The paper may not be suitable for high-resolution printing

So much better than generic glossy paper

I had some older plain glossy paper from Epson as well, but it was not the "premium" kind and was a bit cheaper. The cost on this works out to only about a $1.50 or so per sheet for a 13x17 so that is not a problem given the stunning results. So much deeper blacks, better color, better gloss, very sharp and contrasty. Just thrilled with the results from the old r2880 that I am still using now in 2020. Like getting a new printer.

Pros
  • My pictures came out beautiful and looked like they were professionally done.
Cons
  • The paper can jam in some printers

I was so excited to use these photo paper bc they were cheaper than HP photo paper. I was dead wrong. They wouldn't slide into the 4x6 slot of my HP Printer. They're all unevenly cut and I even measured them and found them to be 1mm too wide. I had to awkwardly trim them with my paper cutter. The blade is kind of dull for thick photo paper. I felt weird to return them bc I had already attempted to cut them. So I'm making due. But so disappointing how they're not exactly 4x6. I'm sticking back…

Pros
  • funky colors with an epson printer. Blacks lean towards magenta.
Cons
  • The paper may not provide good color accuracy across different printers

Price varies greatly, often all over the place. Best to buy special offers as highest mark up is sometimes too pricey. Prefer to shop Ebay first as price is more consistant + delivery convenience.D. Kirtley

Pros
  • ‎8x10 Inches
Cons
  • The paper may not provide sufficient contrast for high-contrast photos

My pack was defective so I don't really don't really know

The pack I received put streaks down the middle of the pictures so I don't really know if it would work. I returned mine ‎Epson.

Pros
  • ‎Epson
Cons
  • The paper may not be ideal for printing photos with a lot of fine detail

Very impressed with the output

I got the Epson Premium Photo Paper along with an Epson Artisan 837 so I could print from an I-pad. The printer looks and works great. No problem from 2 different I-pads, or from three different computers running XP or Windows 7 wirelessly. I have used it wirelessly to both print and scan and have been 100 percent satisfied with the results. Love no wires!I have tried Epson Premium Photo Paper GLOSSY (4x6 Inches, 100 Sheets) (S041727) , Canon, and 3rd party 4x6 photo papers. All look amazing…

Pros
  • I use this paper for most of my photo cards. It is a perfect size.
Cons
  • The price per sheet is higher compared to other photo paper brands

Not glossy photo paper

This package had been opened before. Someone has cut plain paper into the 4x6 size. I have bought many packages of this paper. This is not it.

Pros
  • this is a great product
Cons
  • The brilliance of the glossy finish may make some photos look unrealistic

Incredible - Lab Quality with Artisan 837

I am really picky about photos, so I was pleasantly surprised when I used this paper. First of all, after a ton of research and some experimenting, I found this to be true: Use: Epson photo papers with Epson printers, HP photo papers with HP printers, etc. The Epson paper is, by far, the best paper to use in this printerI have an Epson Artisan 837 and I find that this produces lab quality prints. I know it's over used, but it really does. I compared to lab prints and you can only tell the…

Pros
  • Worked perfectly for my project.
Cons
  • The surface of the paper may be too reflective, making it hard to see the printout in bright light

Good for snapshot or proof printing.

I use this in my studio for daily printing to keep my nozzles clean on my Epson 7600. It's not for "serious" printing but would do for every day "snapshots" or proofs.

Pros
  • Are expensive for large print projects.
Cons
  • The paper may not provide good image sharpness

I needed Paper to Print Pictures

Having moved into a new home, I wanted to hang pictures in my dining room except most of them were either digital or needed to be scanned and printed. The Epson paper seemed to be the most logical for what I needed and it has worked out great. The pictures are up and you can hardly tell they were not professional printed by a photographer. I would recommend Epson's paper.

Pros
  • Works like a champ
Cons
  • The glossiness of the paper can make it difficult to see the details in the photo

fixed my photo printing issues

I was using a different brand of photo paper with my Epson et2800 and could not get the picture to print without lines, but as soon as I got this paper it prints PERFECTLY! colors are great quality is great, I used settings of correct paper and changed quality to be the highest quality, it takes a little longer to print but the picture is perfect!

Pros
  • For the price I think it’s perfect because the quality is very high
Cons
  • The paper can smear easily if not handled with care
