They're nice and bright, but without that screamingly awful fluorescent brightness. Fits perfectly in my table lamp, a bigger bulb just doesn't work. Both of my bathrooms are super bright thanks to the milky glass and I get a lot of light. I can assume they will be LED for some time but so far I'm happy with it.

I can't stand most lights because I like bright white light. It's 1500 lumens, 6000k, about as white and bright as you can get without buying something oversized at a ridiculous price. Just stop searching for something you want to buy and buy it. (In an ideal world they would be frosted or coated so you couldn't see the individual LEDs, but that's a minor detail. I'd pay a small fee if they added an internal coating to mask the individual LEDs, though I'm still quite happy with that.

Bulbs were purchased for the lighting unit of the ceiling fan (the fan is rarely used). Of the three lamps installed, the first died after 15 months. Warranty 2 years, but contacts are not specified. Unscrewing the bulb to replace it resulted in part of the bulb coming loose from the base as the plastic became brittle from the heat (or over-tightening is to blame).
