Works as advertised

I first had these halo rings on my BMW 740i. I switched them to fog lights because the other LEDs I had were giving an error message. These lights solved that problem.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Works but cheaper options available

They look fantastic and were incredibly easy to install on my 2008 BMW X5. The seller shipped me late, and there are other similar products for $30 less on Revain that will likely do the same. It looks good, the price is a little higher than the price of the product/service.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No performance

DO NOT BUY! suitable for incandescent lamps

Absolutely impossible to install! I am an aeronautical engineer with 30 years experience in a machine shop. I don't care what the reviews say, I spent 8 hours. Four on the right. And left abandoned. Every tool in the book and every trick. You can't get them to block it after you end up plugging them in. The side cord exacerbates the situation. DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Incredibly Difficult Installation with Disappointing Result

I was very disappointed with this product apart from being incredibly difficult to install due to the extra wires and the thickness of the lamp housing. I was disappointed when I saw these LEDs weren't even bright enough, the inner halo ring was nice and bright and the outer ring was very dim. I was surprised to see that the standard halogen bulbs were brighter than these bulbs, disappointed

  • Very Impressive

  • Some Issues

Finally! LED Angel Eyes (H8), suitable for 2008 BMW 650is coupe!

The 2008 BMW 650is coupe H8 Angel Eye lamp housing is equipped with a dust cover and has a smaller compartment. I tried several sets of LED bulbs. Fanless ones fit fine but cause a CEL error. The can-bus resistor harness eliminates the warning light, but they tend to be long and don't fit in the case. I have tried other LED fan kits. Due to the smaller compartment, most are too long. This set fits! But with a built-in set of CEL resistors, no. As shown, a significant improvement in lighting.

  • Comfortable

Worth the trouble!

These lights are very bright, the lights are hard to get into the body (at BMW) but be patient, they go in too, plus and minus on one side are reversed, one of my lights didn't work, me had to change the plug and it worked without any problems. Also, I didn't use the smaller capacitor as it didn't affect the lights in my car. They are very bright, the interior lights are of course brighter than the BMW, but they are very good, the headlights almost match a large set of headlights, I've had…

Good choice for replacing one or both halos in your BMW

A light bulb went out on my 2008 E93 BMW 328i Convertible. I've always disliked the yellowish tint of the halo compared to the bluish color of HID headlights, so I asked about the difficulty of replacing a single halo. The front bumper had to be completely removed to replace one, so I bought them from Revain and replaced both. Perfect solution! The new halos match the headlights (and they're a lot brighter!) and I now have two new halos instead of one, making the $200 labor cost more…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Excellent LED headlight for such a price, beautiful and white angel eyes

First of all, these are great, well assembled LED headlights, but for the BMW E89 Z4, the block body to The E89 factory The package was developed for the 8H halogen lamp, which is much smaller than the GFJMC plug-in units. The fan housing of the new LED lights and radiator was too wide for the boot mechanism of the original BMW setup. Rather than returning the bulbs, I filed the edges of the radiator and removed the two pins on the original body block, ensuring a perfect fit. For the price you…

I'm glad it's over.

I was struggling to decide how to rate them so I'm being generous with 4 stars. So, the good: they're bright, the color is great, and the bulbs themselves look like decent quality. The Bad: These things are TERRIBLE to install. I seriously considered taking apart the entire front of the car to remove the headlight housings and mount them on my workbench, but I was stubborn so I just struggled with it. Only about 2 hours. "easy to install" my @$$. The two boxes on each are a NIGHTMARE to…
