While this does blackout the window and will stay up magnets if door is closed, it doesn't suction to keep it on for when door is open, suctions barely secure and don't reach all areas of window. Mainly because it's fit for a certain style car window? I'm not sure. This maybe not seem like an issue but when you have a 4yo in and out of the car, or pulling on it when driving and it repeatedly comes off it creates a problem.

These are so easy to use and block out enough light during a sunny day. I love the actual shades themselves but the magnets don’t work for an Escalade. The size is great for large windows, they don’t let any sun through, and I love the black and white for newborns/infants. Wish it worked for me but still a great product.

It was easy install and very practical because you can take it out whenever you want even it was during driving. Kids love it.

This is the perfect versatile sunshade. It blocks much of the sun but my children can still see through it. The materials are PVC free and safe (as far as I know, except for probably the suction cups). There is no odor. It's very hard for children to damage in any way. I love these! They’re like blackout curtains for your car! My son was able to nap so well during our road trip. Installed in under a minute. Only issue is that it covers your blind spots which isn’t too much of an issue if you have the blind spot monitors on your car.

I love this as it is one of the only options I saw available to complete block out light. However, the magnets aren't nearly as strong as they should be and it falls easily. You have to be careful when shutting the door not to shut it too hard. Also, the pictures made it appear as though it just slid to the side to "open", this is not the case. You basically need to completely remove it to expose the window. Would still recommend, but the images are a bit deceiving.

This worked well until my baby got ahold of it. Now he pulls the magnetic part down all the time. Plus, you aren't really able to put the window down without some of the suction cups getting popped off or going askew. However, this would be great for a newborn.in the winter!

I’m giving it 3 stars because it didn’t fit my car. We have a 2022 Audi Q8 and it didn’t have a place for the magnets to stick to. The whole thing was too big for the suction cups to work. But overall, I think if it fits your vehicle then it’s a good option.

This is great and works perfectly on my 2016 Mazda CX-5. I got the solid black, which is very dark. Magnets are good strength. My only knock is that I wish the suction cups didn’t have such a long cord attached to them; creates gaps. But honestly, I don’t bother using the suction cups that much, so really it’s a non issue. We tried three other types of sun shades and returned them all. This was the only one that blocked out the sun like we wanted. The magnets are strong and don’t come off. You do have to put them in the door jam where it closes to keep it solid but it doesn’t interfere with the door shutting at all. Cute designs too!
