Loved this romantic version of the womanizer Scrooge from the classic A Christmas Carol. Great cast! How did I miss that at the cinema?

A funny take on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" that doesn't take place at Christmas. Not necessarily suitable for all ages, but suitable for slightly open-minded adults.

If you are a fan of Matthew McConaughey you will love this movie. For me, this is a sinful pleasure. Matthew McConaughey is a great actor and plays the role of Connor Meade perfectly. I can't think of any other actor who could play this role as well as Matthew.

If Matthew McConaughey's prefictional integrity and rampant misogynist is your favorite Matthew McConaughey, then this movie is for you. It's about a man who finds out he's afraid of love and fills that void, well. Filling. um lots of promiscuous sex. It won't make you cry for holy matrimony, but it sure is the start of that awful moment in the late 2000s when being a pickup truck artist was literally a day job. Wow. Ok, ok, then ok.

OK. There is nothing amazing about this film. In the end, the boy and girl will live happily ever after. But to achieve that goal, this film takes viewers on an exciting journey of ghosts, high school, and brotherly affection. Unlike many romantic comedies, The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past is primarily based on a male lead. So this is a Matthew McConaughey film, and it's okay, okay, okay if you like him as an actor.
