Good accessory but too small for many trees

Not required for slackline. But sometimes trees have loose bark, moss, and that protects the tree somewhat from cosmetic damage. That's a nice addition. However, it is too small to cover many trees. So we couldn't use it sometimes, although we wanted to, because the choice of trees was limited to a handful and it didn't suit everyone. So if that's what you're really into, you'll have to buy four.

Decent product, must buy two sets

Gibbon should be more open with the product description. I measured one part as 39 inches and the other part as 39.5 inches. Basically you need both parts for the same tree as most reviews say. Gibbons should just put it on the packaging. So for two trees, order two boxes (so you have 4 pieces). Otherwise it is a practical product. You can probably buy the fabric and sew velcro on it to save money but I'm not good at sewing so I'm hesitant to buy another set.

Ok, the product should be longer.

This tree shelter is a great idea. I just got a new slackline so I bought these tree guards too so I have 2 sets. I used to use really cheap mats that I bought before. Pros: Lightweight Velcro makes it easy to attach to trees. Cons: The velcro stitching was poor. One of my strips almost fell off and the other follows quickly. They can also be about 3 feet longer. I have a hard time finding trees small enough to fit around but big enough to put a sling on. Other comments: I don't know if they…
