These lights work quite well and go well with the Hue (with two IDs meaning it looks like two lights). Much better than the $170 Hue version of the same length. Problems with it - the plug was a little flimsy and came out, and there's a spot in the photo where a couple of LEDs are glowing the wrong color (green).

Works fine, but I've found that you don't need a second ID setting in the same room in the Hue app to get good colors. So to get the Hue app or lightbar to set a color for it, I had to create another room, put a white channel in it, turn it off and leave it there. Another thing is that there are wires on both ends. I understand if I buy a Phillips Hue bridge it should work, but I had a SmartThings hub and expected everything works but doesn't, that's why I gave it one star because that information is hard to find. I found a suggestion that says "some" Zigbee controllers don't see the second ID. Other than that, it works GREAT. I can run 2 16.4ft LED strips from one power supply as advertised and all RGB colors work great in SmartThings and Google Home. It was exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this hoping to use it rather than buying additional Philips Hue light strips. While it works with the Hue system, it doesn't work the same way, so it doesn't match Hue. Hue light strips all use RGBCW lights (5 LEDs together) while using R+G+B for "colored" light or C+W (cool white/warm white) for "white". He never uses them together. Therefore, the colors are not the same and the brightness of some colors does not fall off there.
