🐶 Giga Pets Virtual Puppy - White Review

I wanted to play with a toy I had as a kid. Nothing superfluous, I just want it to perform the basic functions it did in the late 90s. The thing keeps restarting, even with new batteries. I'm sure this comment will be buried, but that's a waste of money!

It was a Christmas present bought for my daughter who loved it but it hasn't even been a month and it has stopped working up to the point at which it freezes and just starts releasing random sounds. The only way to stop it is to remove the battery. Tried replacing the battery, still doesn't work. Very disappointed!

I'm so happy I bought the new Giga Pets. They take me back to my youth. The screen is very clear and I didn't have any battery or restart issues like other consumers. Taking care of your virtual pet is so much fun. Now I am teaching my little boy to play and take care of his virtual pet. Maybe one day he can get the real thing.

Love that they have Giga Pets back! This pup is cute but I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a bit lacking compared to the unicorn I also bought. I like that the unicorn is crisp like the originals but the pup isn't, and that it has a grassy background which the pup doesn't have. Otherwise, this is a great virtual pet.

Present to daughter for Christmas. She likes it when she can take care of her puppy. She could name him and feed him, clean up after him and play with him. When you set up the toy for the first time, you will be prompted to set the time. It is very important that the time is accurate. If you set it to 1:00 am when it is now 1:00 pm, your pet will sleep all the time. I have experienced this with my Gigapet Dinosaur sons. Instructions are included with the toy. I ordered a unicorn for me and a dog for my son. I was so excited to see them releasing them again because they were my favorites growing up. Out of the box the dog worked, the unicorn didn't. I went back and got another one. The second unicorn worked. Approximately 2 weeks. My son's dog also worked for about 2 weeks. It would then randomly reset itself and when we tried to run them again it just looped back to reset. So we just pulled the batteries out and threw them away. I will not order…
