WILL NOT WORK WITH OLD GENERATION RYZEN WITHOUT BIOS UPDATE! Read please!

I bought 4 of these to do a cheap VR build and meet up with friends who use this motherboard as it's inexpensive, 4 x Ryzen 5 1600 CPUs, 4 x 1050ti GPUs and 4 x Oculus Rift SI. Frustration and loss of sleep due to work because none of the motherboards will boot and they turn out not to be backwards compatible with older generation Ryzen chips without a BIOS update. The Source of My PC Build Problems

A few months ago I decided it was finally time to start building my first PC. I used PCPartPicker for components and out of all the MOBOs I chose this one. Last month I started building a rig and ran into a problem adding a heatsink. The AMD sockets were too short for the fans (only to find out the heatsink didn't support AM4 and PCPartPicker lied to me about it). Unstable electronics

Combines this A520M with a Ryzen 3 3100 processor and a Zotac GeForce GT710 graphics card. They were unstable. It worked from 30 seconds to 5 minutes and then crashed. Each crash corrupted the hard drive, requiring a system restore to get it working again. I also did a clean install of Windows 10 5 times. Vain. Ryzen 1st and 2nd gen are not supported without BIOS update first

Although this mother is 3rd gen ready, without the update BIOS it doesn't support previous generations. an extra Ryzen 5 3600 to download a bios update and turn my Ryzen 5 1400 back into a really trashy experience just for that πŸ˜‘

Budget mobile phone with integrated 3200G/3400G APU support

I bought this mobile phone for $50 on sale and got Ryzen CPU 3200G APU with integrated GPU. It's great for my daughter to play Roblox, especially in this GPU shortage market. The box says it doesn't support 3200G or 3400G because it's technically a Zen2.
