love cabin tents on my review.

Received quickly thru ebay. I was replacing an old tent that I think was about 8x8 for something just a little bigger and taller so that my son & husband could stand in it. they are 6'3". I also wanted to be able to use this tent when I'm camping alone. I love cabin styles because they give you the most head and wall height and the best use of interior space. I was also looking at the Eureka cooper canyon. These two are almost identical in they're style & construction, but not only was the…

Pros
  • packs nice / sets up nice / big & roomy even for my 6'3" tall husband
Cons
  • The set-up process for this tent is lengthy and may take a considerable amount of time to complete

I like the height and assembly of this tent

I like the height and assembly of this tent. The best part is the ample space in the storage bag. I hate always having to roll up things into their original size to get them to fit in their bags. This is not the case with this tent, so takedown and cleanup is quick and easy. The one bad thing about this tent is the yellow zipper flap on the door. I think its there to shed moisture from coming into the zipper, but the zipper consistently gets caught on it. So you can't eaily open the tent with one

Pros
  • Very big, awesome purchase.
Cons
  • The tent's size may be impractical for individuals who prefer to camp solo or with a smaller group of people

This is a great tent

this is the best tent, it is huge but does not take up any more floor space then my old tent. I do have to say it took two of us to put it up at least the cross section of it, I also bought the Browning Camp Cot and it fits perfectly in the tent. There are two doors one on each side and two great windows on the other two sides. I can stand up and have lots of room, I even put a chair in the tent and still had room to move around. Its amazing how much space a 10 X 10 tent can have when the sides

Pros
  • ‎3-Year
Cons
  • The tent's size may make it difficult to find a suitable camping area for set up

Great tent at this price point. Bear Mountain 10x10.

Finally found a tent that is JUST right for 2 50 somethings. 10X10, near vertical sides, great ventilation, 6 foot sidewall height with 7 foot center height. Notice the rainfly, allows ventilation in all but the most extreme conditions. An extra high blow up queen mattress fits nicely with walk around & storage room to boot. If you aren't handy with solving problems you likely don't need to tent camp, get a room. It has issues you need to address BEFORE you set it up at the campsite but it is 5

Pros
  • Tents & Shelters
Cons
  • The tent is not designed to withstand high winds, which may be problematic for campsites in windy areas

Easy! Spacious! Lightweight!

The best tent EVER! Used the tent for the 1st time last night. Easy to setup! Can be done by one person but definitely helps to have a second person to help.Perfect tent for 3-4 people with room to store your gear. Plenty of space inside to stretch out and could easily stand inside in the middle. Tent is also much lighter than expected which is a nice plus. When breakdown: just make sure to squeeze out the air so that it will fit easily into the carry bag.

Pros
  • ‎Gigatent
Cons
  • The tent may not provide enough ventilation during hot summer days, making the interior uncomfortable for occupants

This was the right choice!

Held up to heavy rain without any leaks. Assembled fairly easily. Plenty of room for a full size bed and equipment. That's my review.

Pros
  • Netting material: No-see-um mesh and fly Material: 190T polyester taffeta 1200 millimeter coating
Cons
  • The tent's shape may be difficult to fit into certain camping spaces, such as narrow or steep terrains

super roomy good for me

Little awkward to put up until you get the hang of it (instructions were worthless). But SO roomy. I felt like a queen in it.

Pros
  • ‎Freestanding
Cons
  • The tent's color scheme may be unappealing or clash with other camping equipment

Customer service was no help

My 1st time using the tent one of the pole sections split apart. That happened 8/17. Since then I have been in contact with them 6 or 7 times with them promising to replace it as soon as they come in. Now almost a year later I am to go on a camping trip but won't be able to use the tent that has only been used once. I'll have to borrow one. NOT COOL!

Pros
  • ‎68 Inches
Cons
  • The tent's material may be difficult to clean if it becomes dirty or muddy during camping trips

Really like this tent

Really like this tent, easy to put up and can lay in bed and look out windows, or close them. Good rain fly that sticks out well to protect windows.

Pros
  • Love the square design, not that complicated. Nice size. Haven't used it in the rain yet.
Cons
  • The GigaTent Bear Mountain Family Tent is relatively heavy, making it difficult to carry to outdoor locations

I wanted to love this tent, but.

The good: The tent is very roomy and I love the near-vertical walls. The bad: It is impossible to set this up by yourself - definitely needs at least 2 people. I've used this tent maybe 10 times by now, and one of the top poles has already broken.twice. Also, the zippers constantly get caught in the flap covering the zipper - not a huge deal but very annoying.I'm ready to give up and am tossing this for a Coleman instant tent.

Pros
  • ‎Green
Cons
  • The long set up time may be inconvenient for campers interested in a quick and easy set-up process
