Gillette Platinum Double Safety Blades Review

These are definitely not Gillette original blades. I have very sensitive skin and have to change blades after 4 shaves. I bought them before my real Gillette blades ran out and they didn't last. The first shave was like shaving with a very old and dull blade. The marker is broken too. Definitely get what you pay for. Shit.

So here is my take on Gillette's safe blades, I find them very sharp. I get a clean, smooth shave with no nicks and no missing stubble. do not regret my decision to buy them, buyers do not regret. Make no mistake in buying them, I will buy them again long before they run out.

These sheets are manufactured at the same location (actual address) as Astra SP Platinums. They may actually be the same blade, but they don't appear to be. They appear to be thinner than the current asters I use. However, Astras have been around for a few years. They appear to shave closer and are reasonably smooth. There is no nick yet. I find these razors have the smoothest edge for my face (I have sensitive skin). I don't get razor burn and I usually never cut with these blades no matter how fast I shave. I usually shave 3-4 times with each blade. I can get 5 but I'd rather switch to a new one after 3 or 4 shaves. If you want a sharper blade and a smoother shave, use Feather or Persona Red, but they'll bite you if you're not careful, and they tend to give me the occasional razor burn. Gillette Platinum DE blades are some of the smoothest and sharpest blades on the market. I combine them with my Merkur 34C and together they offer the best shave in the world.
