Fantastic Blades: Safety Razors

This review was written by a man with a serious skin problem. Not your typical "I have sensitive skin" type. The safety razor was a last resort attempt to save my face from cuts, nicks and severe irritation. When it comes to blades, performance comes first. If you know what you're doing (oiling, lathering, taking your time, and best of all, shaving in the shower) these platinum blades will help. If you don't know what you're doing or are new to wet shaving, be aware that these blades are fairly sharp, thin, and not very forgiving. If you're still interested, consider getting a sampler pack that includes them and use trial and error. Always remember that there are some blades that just don't suit your face. As for $$$, are there cheaper options? Absolutely. But I already know what to expect when I buy these blades. I switched to Walmart's Van der Hagen blades mainly for geographic reasons and a lack of online research. These aren't bad blades, but given that the five-pack at $2.82 compares to these $0.16 blades at $0.56 per blade? And both last about the same time. Yes, I'm sticking with these platinums.
