A little more difficult to assemble than most toys or cat claw houses. However, it is worth it. Detailed instructions are included. The box is strong. We chose to gun glue everything together for maximum stability and durability. The set contains many stickers. It's best to decorate the house and then post the photos on Facebook! I'm not sure if that's more entertaining for cats or humans.

It was an impulse purchase so it's my fault I didn't read the instructions! The house is assembled in 30 minutes, the cardboard elements fold well and stick together. He feels very strong. Applying stickers takes the most time. If you love crafts or have kids, decorating a cardboard gingerbread house can be fun. If you're looking for a product that works right out of the box, then this isn't for you. My cat got used to her new home very quickly. I think my dog is jealous and wants his own ;)

When this first arrived and I saw that not only did I have to assemble it but I had to decorate it with stickers I was a little overwhelmed. But once I started putting it together I realized that it was pretty easy and only took me about 10 minutes. And then the stickers were funny. There are video tutorials online to help you put it together if you need it, but there's no information on how to apply the decals, so just get creative. My cats couldn't wait for me to finish building their new cat house, pictured. It requires some intellectual effort to assemble, but the instructions have been greatly improved over the first version.
