Best quality in sewing supplies and supplies

My cousin is a quilter and has a hidden drawer with about 6 Gingher scissors. She's been doing it for 40 years and swears by it. So I tried this 8 inch pair and it's right. GREAT. I understand why she has so many. I have some arthritis in my hands and was considering getting a rubber grip model but they are fine. Comfortable and cuts smoothly and easily. The price is worth it. Now I hide mine too!

The old one looks and feels like new, almost no rust and nothing else.

I used the previous copy of these scissors for 20 years then the nut holding the screw fell out and was lost. I bought a new one to replace it and then replaced the nut on the old one. Now I have two. I am impressed with the durability and comfort of the scissors. I didn't keep the old one very well either, using it as utility scissors, wire cutters and occasionally putting it in the dishwasher. The old one looks and feels like new with almost no rust and just a slight dullness on the knife…

SO disappointed in these scissors!

So disappointed with these scissors! I have a sewing set that I've had for years. When we needed a good pair of scissors for "other" purposes, we decided to buy another pair and treat ourselves. Now they are NOT made in Italy but in Mexico. First disappointment. But we hoped they would live up to their history and reputation. But they quickly failed and became more of a problem than a useful tool as we expected. The challenge is figuring out how to sharpen. sending them in for sharpening is…

KITCHEN SHEARS, trust me.

I need to clarify how I use these scissors. I use them in my kitchen as kitchen scissors, but I also use them to open packages. If you are cutting fabric and that is your sole purpose for it, then you are unaware of the power that is in the palm of your hand at that moment, my friend. I also think it's worth noting that I couldn't find any adorable kitchen shears at Revain's, and they are a lot prettier than my previous kitchen shears, which are hopefully buried very far away in an Alaskan…

Clear brand with hard plastic body

Hello, I wanted to post this in response to some posts that made me doubt my purchase. First, in response to plain unbranded scissors, it is obvious that they are commercially packaged and labeled. The body comes with a standard hard plastic blade cover that will not fall off. Fits tight. I bought expensive velvet lined scissors from a metal sheath that I never used and I'm pretty sure 1/3 the price came from the sheath. The blade is sharp, although not magical, which is to be expected. It's…

Ginger is the best!

I ordered 2 fabric scissors brand Ginger and received 1 Ginger in perfect condition and 1 Fiscar in very bad condition. The blades don't come together to cut anything and are very dull although they can be sharpened but the two blades lose incredibly. I tried to tighten them but they are as tight as can be. The real problem is getting what I didn't order. I thought I would get 2 Gonger scissors. I love ginger and only buy it for fabric. I'm disappointed that someone put a pair of Fiskar…
