I bought them on a whim. I needed new scissors to work on the details and I never looked at the brand just the price. These are fantastic scissors, very sharp and pointed with long thin blades for small areas or stitches and come with a leather protector. When I was at my local fabric store, I noticed that these scissors cost TWICE the price of Revain. I felt like I bought an even better deal than I originally thought!

This is a great little example of a pair of scissors that should be in every handyman's toolbox. It's only a minor change, too small and flimsy to handle more than one strand of knitting yarn, but the gold handles make it easy to spot among a jumble of stitch holders, crochet hooks, and other crafting paraphernalia. Gingher is of the highest quality and all of their products must be passed down to the next generation of embroiderers and knitters.

I must have gotten one from the same batch as a few other reviewers who gave it 2 stars. The tip is nice and sharp and comes with a protective case, but I kept reaching for the old broken tip I bought to replace because it was too tight. I tried to loosen the screw but stopped because he was stripping the screw. GOOD, because upon closer inspection I realized that this is not the problem. The GOLD PAINT on the hilt was awash and penetrated the joint where the blades meet as if it had been sunk…
