Needs Better Quality Control

As previously reported the jaws do not align when the pliers are closed causing the brake line to be pinched. The reason mine didn't line up was because the hinge or pivot was a smaller diameter than the hole, which allowed play between each half of the pliers. I needed a brake line tool and decided to fix it by installing the correct size pin rather than throwing the dice at a swap with the same issue. On the positive side it now looks great and makes very tight corners.

Useful for power tools and hand tools

The description says "Molded jaws bend pipes without deformation." I haven't made wires for the car yet, but I've tested these pliers on a bunch of broken wires, and you can twist and tangle the line with it if you're not careful. The first few corners were ok and then I had a kink. so they are not reliable. What works well for fairly tight 90 degree bends and costs about the same as these pliers is the titanium mini tube bender, which you can also find here at Revain. I bought one of these atโ€ฆ

I wish I knew about them sooner. they rock!

I destroyed over $50 worth of brake lines trying to bend the master cylinder to the cam lines for my 1067 Scout and read about it in an article online. The cheap roundabouts you get from port freight and the like are rubbish on the other hand. They have a nice black finish that didn't come off when the brake line was flexed more than 50 feet. some were very difficult? molds and they all came out flawless, with no creases. I wish I knew earlier, they saved a life

Good to have for pliers

It worked great! I wish I had bought them a long time ago!

After reading some negative reviews about this product, I was a bit reluctant to buy it. What bothered me the most was that some people wrote that the caliper had uneven jaw alignment and ruined the brake lines or just didn't work. I've never tried brake line pliers. I've always used a socket in a vise and that seemed to work. But this time I had to do some very difficult corners and had very little space to get to the area where I was working. I was absolutely amazed at how easily these pliers
