As previously reported the jaws do not align when the pliers are closed causing the brake line to be pinched. The reason mine didn't line up was because the hinge or pivot was a smaller diameter than the hole, which allowed play between each half of the pliers. I needed a brake line tool and decided to fix it by installing the correct size pin rather than throwing the dice at a swap with the same issue. On the positive side it now looks great and makes very tight corners.

After reading some negative reviews about this product, I was a bit reluctant to buy it. What bothered me the most was that some people wrote that the caliper had uneven jaw alignment and ruined the brake lines or just didn't work. I've never tried brake line pliers.
