🎿 Giro Jackson MIPS Snow Helmet: Optimal Head Protection for Winter Sports Review

I have to return this helmet. I don't like the hook for my glasses. It has not been worn. I see that the window expired 4 days ago, but I hope you allow me to return it.

I had to trim the chin strap on this helmet for a $15 tailor but it was worth it rather than returning this item as the straps do not adjust left enough to be snug under my chin. Of the four helmets I've had, this is by far the most comfortable.

This is a replacement for an old GIRO helmet I had for about ten years. MIPS technology seems to be a good thing. I hope they don't test. But the helmet itself is very comfortable. The orange could have been more neon, which I like to be able to tell from my ski companions. The helmet is excellent.

I bought a large size. It is convenient to wear a hat/skullcap underneath. If necessary, you can wear a light knitted hat. Convenient with easy adjustment via rotary wheel. Worked well with non-Smith goggles (no gap between helmet and goggles. The first few days I used this helmet were windy with 22F highs. No issues with cold or wind at all. Light, no-frills weight is just that, what I wanted and got. Also, got it for half the normal retail price.

I recommend measuring your head and buying the right size. The helmet shines, the lining is comfortable and soft. The helmet is lighter than expected which is great. This allows you to adjust the fit with a dial on the back. The vents are always open which is nice on warm days, I only wear a hat when I don't want to feel the air. Overall a great helmet.
