I work in a medical lab and need to work with clinical samples and use a microscope. Before I have this face shield, I have to remove the face shield when using the microscope and put it back on when I need to work with specimens. Thanks to the tilt function, I can easily raise the face shield when working with the microscope and lower it when working with samples.

should have been returned. The protective mask is pre-punched with small holes and must be attached to the pins on the visor. The holes get bigger as you press. The holes get too big and won't stay on the pins. Even if you force it to stay, the mount is very weak, the visor cannot be easily raised and lowered, and again the visor detaches. The adjustable part of the visor is very efficient and comfortable. I really liked this part!

Works surprisingly well with liquid splatters etc but not stiff enough for use in wood turning on foam or other work where larger scraps are required. The plastic is very transparent (if you remember to remove the plastic guards!) and can be used in place of disposable covers for example a 3M face shield (e.g. http://www.amazon.com/3M-Faceshield) - Cover-Full-face -25-Pack/dp/B0013WICHC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1434848674&sr=8-4&keywords=3m+face+shield but no glue).
