Warm and Comfortable

A college student living in a cold weather state, asked grandma to order socks. She selected these GKX wool soft crew socks. Transitioning from summer to winter just got easier with socks that met my needs. The feel of these socks was soft and they didn't look bad either! Thanks Grandma for this purchase ,I plan to get lots of wear out of these winter socks.

Pros
  • Shipped in great protective box. Very warm and comfortable.
Cons
  • The socks may not fit well for those with high arches or narrow feet

No smelly feet! best in my review

I always have a hard time getting the right socks because they make my feet smell if there’s too much polyester but these are great, I can wear them all day at work with my boots on and at the end of the day my wife doesn’t have to clear out of the mud room when I take them off because they don’t smell. Merino wool is legit. Buy these socks you will love them!

Pros
  • Extremely warm and comfortable.
Cons
  • The wool material may be uncomfortable for those with sensitive skin

Great socks! best in my review

I love these socks, but when I reordered, I got a different color and possibly a larger size. They are very comfortable, keep your feet dry and last a long time.

Pros
  • Great sock maybe a little on the big side..
Cons
  • These were comfortable but not near the thickness and warmth I was looking for

okay wool socks for the price.

but they aren't as good as i've found before for similar $. texture is more like 80s tube socks.they're thick.but a little coarse and that makes them a little scratchy. fine for regular needs, but i need 'em for 120 degree heat, and the last two kinds i found that were thinner and stretchier and softer were discontinued. nothing WRONG with these socks, they're just average.

Pros
  • Ordered these for hubby. His other wool blend he wore out. I believe will last a while. Very sturdy.
Cons
  • The socks may be too thick and heavy for some hikers or workers

Soggy Socks on my review.

Bought these for my boyfriend who works long, cold shifts in insulated boots hoping to help with some of his sweating. Super comfy but he says these socks actually make him sweat MORE. He ends up standing in puddles by the end of the night. Good for comfort, not so much for work.

Pros
  • They are very comfortable and thick sock, as promised.
Cons
  • The socks may not provide enough arch support for those with flat feet or plantar fasciitis

Dad and husband approved

These are great men’s socks. I bought them for both my dad and my husband. They have held up well after a year’s use. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • They aren't as soft as Wigwam socks but acceptable and much better price
Cons
  • The socks may not fit comfortably for those with larger or wider feet

Loses original texture after first wash-dry cycle

The pros are that these socks have a good feel and don’t creep down your calves around your ankles over the course of a day. The cons; however, are that I’ve had to repair the top hem of one (1) of the eight (8) socks after the first wash-dry cycle AND the material surface changes texture to a frayed surface after the first wash-dry cycle. Now I air dry the socks on a line after washing them on delicate cycle to prevent further damage.

Pros
  • I don't like being forced to say things.
Cons
  • The wool material may cause itching or irritation for some individuals

Satisfied! best in my review

I didn't do a review on warmth cause it's summer and he has done great with the heat in them! They helped his feet not hurt! They look nice! They are NOT an ugly sock at all! They are quite a sharp looking sock. Love them even though they are a little pricy!

Pros
  • Soft and comfortable. They stay up. Shrinkage is minimal.
Cons
  • The stitching may come undone or become frayed over time

These socks! on my review.

They are very comfortable and perform as expected. Follow up review in 6 months to see how long they last. Like them so much I'm getting ready to order a second set!

Pros
  • Excellent product. These are seriously thick and well made socks, like old school winter boot socks.
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for those who prefer a low-cut or no-show style sock

17% merino wool in my review

These socks are comfortable, but I don’t think they should be billed as "Merino wool” with only a 17% content of same. That's my review.

Pros
  • love em
Cons
  • The socks may not be suitable for those who require specific medical or orthopedic footwear

Relatively inexpensive decent hiking sock.

I really liked these socks until this happened (see photo). This happened this morning while putting the sock on. Brand new, this pair had never been worn before and thusly have not yet been washed. My thumb went straights through. Using normal pressure to put the sock on. Really sucks because what is next is the whole sock falling apart. So I had to sing the build quality.

Pros
  • Warm, soft, comfortable
Cons
  • The socks may be too expensive compared to other brand options
