Gladiator GAGB28FDYG: The Ultimate Full-Door Modular Gearbox Steel Cabinet Review

I needed more garage space for my tools. I bought this Gladiator RTA cabinet at a very good price. The closet came up with no problems - and it didn't take long. Read the instructions - and maybe grab a bunch of attachments to speed up the install. I ended up using a Phillips cordless drill to speed up the assembly of the back of the panel. This cabinet is good quality and looks great in my store!

I ordered one of these cabinets from Lowes and it was missing parts. After returning the item to Lowes, I ordered this cabinet from Revain. All parts were included but some holes didn't match. Luckily it was in the back and I was able to drill holes that matched. The locking system is also a joke. The metal is very fragile but I think you get what you pay for. I wouldn't buy it if I really needed to include something or plan to weigh it down.

I used to have 2 of the 3 drawers and wanted a full door cabinet. I am anxious. I just assembled mine and the bottom is completely flat as are all the shelves. - Even upside down, my bottom bowl has a rectangle in each corner that holds coasters/coaster holders. (And it's impossible to install the shelf upside down without drilling new holes) This is exactly what I expected, although I could suggest a few more mounting options for Shelf 2.

I have a garage full of these cabinets and gladiator rail system. All in all this is a good product. Although I was very disappointed to find a few flaws in this order. 1) It's hard to capture in the attached photo, but the right door is bent in the top right corner. Because of this, the doors look uneven when closed. 2) Handles of different shades and textures. Can also be seen in the attached image. Looks like the right side door didn't pass quality control properly. In addition to the above.

Product comes with pre-drilled holes, good instructions, cheap screws (soft metal) and a thin sheet of metal.
