We love the expensive ice cream at our local ice cream shop, but single servings are impractical. So these great little containers helped us find a way to enjoy small portions of this ice cream without paying a high overall price for small portions. We buy a liter at a time, then divide the ice cream into small freezer containers and keep it frozen until we're ready to enjoy it (at a fraction of the cost).

Great for Salads! I received 3 packs of 4 sets = 12 containers. Probably more than I need, but the price is right. On Sunday night I will wash the salad, pack the bowls, fill with dressing and put in the fridge. I eat salad for lunch all week, and on Friday the salad is as fresh as on Sunday night. I'm always late in the mornings and these products have helped me get out of the house earlier, I highly recommend.

They are perfect for small things like single serving salad dressing, the leftovers of half a lemon, half a can of beans or a serving of mashed potatoes to toss in the fridge or separate dry foods like toast or chopped nuts for salad or granola to mix with yogurt. They are usually dishwasher safe and sealed. BUT I kinda always have more coasters than lids so I finally bought another new set and it literally came out of the box with all 8 coasters but only 7 lids! Ironic, no?

I foolishly used it to store peanut butter and found the lid and bowl pressed into the surface of the food. This meant the peanut butter got stuck in there and went rancid and I had to throw away 3 lids, effectively rendering 3 canisters useless. When using them, use them on powder or dry items as they work best. You could probably use it for mashed potatoes, etc., but not something thick and oily like peanut butter. Make sure they are dry before storing them so these embossings don't get moldy

I searched and searched for a good sized lunch and salad container and finally settled on this one. I am very happy with it. Most other salad containers get more than a few reviews saying they're too small for the evening salad you plan to make as a main course. They're big and the small dressing container holds the perfect amount of dressing for a packed container full of salad.
