Don't get me wrong. Anti-glare works well. I probably expected it to magically remove all flare, halos, and starburst, and it would certainly reduce them to a more manageable level. With today's ultra-bright headlights, any reduction in glare is a welcome relief, and this shield does just that.

I installed day shields in August 2016. Everything worked as stated. Now I have the night version of the same shield installed. Also worked as advertised. Both fit on the same visor. One in front and one behind. Depending on whether it is day or night, both are then available.

This is the sixth anti-glare product I have tried to install and use. All others were a nightmare to install and were completely unsatisfactory once installed. This anti-glare product installs easily in about 15 minutes and works surprisingly well. The only tool needed was a pair of scissors to cut the velcro to length. A MUST for anyone annoyed or blinded by today's EXTREMELY BRIGHT HEADLIGHTS! Really reduces glare and makes night driving safe again. It also helps improve visibility in snow and rain, especially at night. Don't waste your money on cheaper brands that are nothing more than yellow plastic. This is the one that works. It attaches securely with or without the included Velcro straps and is easy to adjust with one hand while riding.

I used to be all Bruce Springsteen/Manfred Mann when driving at night ("Blinded by the Light"), especially when it was raining. The advent of widespread use of halogen headlights and LED street lights has made driving at night more difficult. This visor helps block blue light from oncoming headlights at night, which is nice as I'm sensitive to blue light. However, the item description is misleading. I have both the gray polarized visor and this one. Gray is definitely polarized, which is evident when you see how reflected sunlight decreases throughout the day. All is good but not as dark as I expected. My car is small (a 2002 Toyota Corolla) and I'm very tall (my head hits the ceiling of the car) so I couldn't install the yellow thing the normal way (because when I flip down the visor of the car it blocks completely my view of the road ahead, so I have to keep the car's visor up so the yellow thing sticks to my face when I lower it). I was initially disappointed with this product as I thought it wasn't polarised. I was wrong. This product is made by a polarizing film manufacturer and actually contains a layer of polarizing film. The effect is invisible when held up to a computer screen, iPhone or sunglasses. Because it's a layer of polarizing film, it doesn't completely disappear when you look at it through another polarizing filter.
