I bought these to connect a battery bank together for my off-grid solar system. They are ideal for marine battery studs. Seems like I've always needed electrical hookups so this should keep me happy for a while!

Paper thin material. I wouldn't trust them to carry around 40 amps as advertised. I also wouldn't trust them in automotive applications that are subject to vibration due to physical weakness. I would not use them and would have sent them back. Low quality Chinese product.

Very good quality. The metal of the crimping area is stronger and slightly thicker than other ring terminals of this type. The ring portion has a large surface area for good contact and allowable current (amps). The inner diameter of the ring is such that the M8 screw fits perfectly into the ring. I will buy this brand now when I need terminals.

The material is quite thin. They bend easily even with a slight tug on the wire. They get hotter than I would like with 30 amps running through them. They don't hold the wire very tight. It is NOT recommended to use ratcheting pliers unless you are soldering the wire. Otherwise, the wires will be pulled out immediately. If you don't plan on soldering them, use some old school Klien or Channellock pliers. Definitely not recommended for mission-critical connections.
