GlasGarten Bacter Powder Additive Shrimp Review

I hope my nano shrimp in my 5 gallon tank will do better (introduction, survival, reproduction) with this than they have in the past. Hopefully 1/64 teaspoon 1-2 times a week is the right amount. This is my best guess based on the instructions for the 120L tank and the shovel that came with it. I've only been using it for a short time, so it's too early to tell.

As soon as I added this the shrimp appeared out of nowhere within 10 minutes. Baby shrimp I knew I had a few pop ups every time this stuff came out. DO NOT overwater, my 5 gallon tank uses about 1/16th the glass that comes with it and works fine. This is a very fine powder and you don't need much if you have a small reservoir. I have noticed that after a few weeks of this food the shrimp are grazing on rocks and substrate a lot more than before every few days. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical that this cream colored powder would do anything other than cloud the water for a while. I dosed every other day for a week in a 35 liter tank. The bacteria you introduce into your aquarium are aerobic bacteria. This means they use oxygen to do their job. I got this to provide more food for my small shrimp but shrimp of all sizes seem to love it. I have a ten gallon aquarium and I have no idea how many shrimp are in it (more than 4 but less than 400).
