I bought a 1 gallon set and a half gallon set. They work great except for one. The lid doesn't close completely without force. The glass seems quite durable. The glasses have a simple style and will last a long time in our home without going out of style, and the price is good. I was able to free up space in our pantry which is a huge plus for me.

Perfect if you share life with someone who always makes a rustling noise packing cereal in the wee hours and doesn't seal containers with lids. When I go after them I pull them towards me because you will never take such containers by the lid. They also glide nicely across the countertop. Easy to clean. Very happy with them. Also excellent printing on the covers.

If my husband hadn't gotten rid of the box by now I probably would have sent it back. While the glass is nice and thick, it is of poor quality - there are seams and aberrations in the glass, and the lenses have a certain green cast that doesn't match where I intended to place them. I bought these hoping they would hold water well which they do. but extracting water when you want to use it or drink it just makes a ridiculous mess. They aren't meant to be watered and are large enough to be a little awkward to handle when trying to water so much that they now make a really good counter holder for things like pasta. After running the jars and lids through the dishwasher, I very carefully removed the seal from the lid to ensure no water remained. I've been scouring Revain for the best storage containers for my outdoor pantry and they're definitely at the top of my list ! I received 2 packs of 1 gallon (3L) jars hoping they would be big enough to hold a full sack of flour. It was almost perfect! (See photo for comparison of 4 lb bag of sugar and 5 lb flour).
