Not as big as I thought.

I thought it was bigger. It's actually a small bowl. It is filled up to two liters, but the spout is below this line. Great as a conversation piece, but maybe not as functional as a large jug if you're only using it for mixing large drinks. I've used it for crystal clear tea and it just doesn't hold enough water. Stay because it's cute.

  • High price

Universal! best in kitchen and dining room

Perfect for making hot tea or iced coffee! For tea, the square carafe fits right into my mini-microwave and I can heat the water. Then remove the carafe and add tea using a metal insert to steep for a few minutes. For iced coffee, I can place the base in a metal insert, then fill with water and leave overnight. Makes a large cup of coffee/tea (travel glass size) or about a cup and a half from a regular mug.

Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Nice teapot but not the size advertised

I love loose tea and was very happy to find this teapot with a large brewer. It's simple and beautiful. It was listed as an 18-ounce teapot, which seemed the perfect size for brewing tea and then pouring it into a travel mug or making a teapot for drinking at home. It looked small when it arrived so I measured how much water it could hold. Without the infuser filled to the top, it holds just over 14 ounces, which is half a cup less than I planned. It's still very good and it will work. But now…

Ideal for brewing gong fu style loose leaf tea.

Just the right size for multiple infusions per person. The sieve is big enough to hold enough leaves. Since I like to brew gong fu style beer, I can measure the amount of leaves I want and brew over and over again, which is very convenient. I like to leave the tip between infusions to allow the leaves to breathe. So I needed a place to put it down and not just put it on the table. The solution was to replace the top bolt with a longer one and a nut inside so it could balance on the spout. This…

Perfect for filling my 16 ounce mug!

I specifically chose this lovely little kettle to fill my 16oz travel mug. It works very well for this purpose; It's easy to add just the right amount of water to fill the mug to the brim without leaving tea behind. I have another teapot that I use to make tea to share and let the tea sit for a while. This pot won't work for that; Aside from the metal lid being small, it won't fit a teapot without a teapot. To keep the tea standing without boiling over would require emptying the tea and…

Do Not Buy - Drinkware

I ordered the largest size available and before I opened the box I knew it was broken. As soon as I opened it, I was greeted by the smell of goods that had long lain on the back shelf of a Chinatown store. A distinctive smell that leads me to believe this item was broken before I ordered it. The glass I see is very thin. I have attached a picture of the retail box, its size is not listed anywhere. This is the largest size and still very small. I have requested a replacement and now I have to…

really cool! but a little less than you think.

The square teapot is very pretty. I love expensive Yunnan tea and never want my tea to touch anything plastic. I like that it's just glass and metal. It's a bit strange but I think since there are 3 sizes in the selected options you get the impression that the largest is 'big' but it isn't. The option selected says 25 oz but once you buy it it says 22 oz. I'm not familiar with ounces, but a good guideline is that a regular coffee mug weighs around 8 or 9 ounces, and a large oversized coffee mug
