🪞 Acrylic Triple Decora Switch Plate - GlassAlike Mirror Design Review

When installed protrudes from the wall and is 'flat' rather than 'concave' like any other panel cover. Very strange. I will not buy again.

My husband professionally installs something like this. His order didn't arrive on time so we got this for a quick fix. They are cheaper but look so much better! And they won't break as easily as real mirrors!

Matches the mirror it is placed in front of. Looks great. There isn't enough room on the back for the button head screws that hold the switches in place. The switch screws must be replaced with flat head screws to allow the mounting plate to sit flush with the switches.

I bought this to replace a broken glass switch plate that a glass company installed when they installed a giant bathroom mirror. They actually broke 2. Although it looks like a mirror, it has enough strength to be able to tighten the switches by pressing them firmly against the back of the plate. Thanks very much!

It is completely flat on the back leaving no room for the electrical box and switches so it protrudes about 1/4 inch from the wall. Also, the screws are longer than traditional plate screws, so the screws weren't fully screwed in. I couldn't use them. I'm glad I bought it just to try. It really looks like a mirror and after reading the reviews it works for some other buyers.

I cannot express how disappointed I am with this product. I thought that since it took three months it would be a great product as you can see from the photos. I was wrong! I don't know if it scratches or scrapes, something horrible is happening to the back making it look cheap, dirty and tattered. I wipe, but only use a damp paper towel. I don't know where the crack is coming from because there isn't one around the screws like I overtightened it and cracked it on the surface. MY OPINION DO NOT

I was initially bothered by some other reviews saying the back was flat and didn't match the mirror surrounding the switches. This switch plate does not have a flat back. There's a raised lip on the back that gives room for the switches themselves. I installed it on Decora Switches in seconds with no problems. Also, this is a high quality, well-made acrylic switch panel that looks great on the mirrored wall to which it is attached. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The only downside, in my…
