Eyeglasses Review

These sunglasses are the standard edition of Oakley SI and therefore only available on Oakleysi.com. I bought this model because after doing some research I found that these are high performance sunglasses designed to last for a long time, offering unparalleled optical clarity and offering the highest level of protection.

I loved the look of these glasses until I got them. I tried them on and immediately realized that I had made a mistake in buying them. Thanks Revane for letting me get her back. Essentially, these are fashionable, overpriced glasses.

I love these glasses and they are perfect for target shooting as they cover your eyes completely and hardly let any fumes from a gun tip get into your eyes. However, the back of the frame that covers the ears is a bit smooth. They had to put rubber pads on the back like they do on most Oakley products. I had to buy a strap that connects to them for an additional $10. It's not much, but if you're paying $150 for ballistic sunglasses, I expect it to come with a strap, as I know these goggles…

They have a very military-tactical look. Comfortable and light. Frame thickness is about the same as most of Oakley's plastic frames. Feels quite learning even if it's easy. Thicker than the "Triggerman" model. The only improvement I would make is to put black rubber on the stems. I was afraid the gray lenses weren't dark enough, but they are quite dark.
