These are great for your nails. THey don't shred or chip them. I don't know if the case if the best made, but the file is great and I use it all the time. Great to have in your purse too!

I expected to be disappointed, but took a chance. I have always used metal files, but I find the ones available these days are a little too coarse. I was pleasantly surprised with this glass file. My metal file days are over!

I have bought LOTS of these! This brand seems to be better than any others that I've bought, so I've bought 15 or so. They come in a beautiful, elegant looking box. They're GREAT nail files! I give them as gifts along with other manicure & pedicure items, and everyone has specifically mentioned how nice the glass nail file is and how much they like it. I will continue to buy them for gifts and for myself. I love all the different colors so that I can give each person a favorite color.

Works better than Nail Tek's, which is what they sell in Cosmo Prof, a professional store for beauticians, nail techs, estheticians and barbers. I like how it comes with a cloth to wipe it off, fine for personal use. Just one question, do they sell a mini one w/case for my purse?

It's a bit like nails on a chalkboard, which is the worst thing ever, basically. And in retrospect I should have expected that. BUT, with the right pressure and angle it's not so bad. I think I can get used to that, because it seems to make a very smooth finish. But even now, just thinking about the nails on-a-chalkboard effect is giving me the shudders.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A friend loaned me a similar one several months ago when I had torn a fingernail, and I couldn't get over how quickly I was able to smooth it out, with no jagged edges. I wanted a smallish size, with a case, and this is perfect. Plus it's pretty!

I just got this file, so I can't really give more than an initial impression, which is that it seems pretty good. The results so far are smooth and easily controlled. Unfortunately, although the outer packaging and gift box were undamaged, the case into which the file goes is damaged. Since nothing else was damaged, I take it that this is the result of poor quality control.

I bought this file to replace one that I've had for years. This one is not as coarse as I would like. I have very hard nails and this would take forever to do the job. Will continue to look for one more like my original.

Id never used a glass file before. I was amazed at how effective it was. I've stopped using nail clippers now as they always left me with rough edges or ingrown nails. Also nicely packaged. Would make a good gift.

Absolutely the BEST nail file ever! No awful sound that gives me goosebumps when I'm filing my nails. So smooth! Limited color options.

I did not care for this type of nail file. Could not really clean nails with it. pretty but way to thick for a nail file. That's my feedback.

These G.Liane glass nail files are similar to my Bliss Kiss glass files that I have that were recommended by Simply Nailogical. I'm also comparing them to Mont Blue files, which are virtually identical to Bliss Kiss, just a bit more economically priced.
