They were a lot smaller than I thought they would be and wouldn't fit my sloping robe. I had to put a piece of plywood on top to attach them. It's also difficult to hold onto tightly, my kids bumped into one of the stockings and it fell off completely. In addition, the glued-on "protective handle" can be removed very easily. In general, I regret the purchase.

I bought these because I needed to hang a garland in front of our robe. They arrived completely warped so I couldn't get the screws in the correct position for the clamp. I took a pair of tongs and shaped them as best I could. This, of course, spoiled the cheapness of the finish. When I finally attached them to the robe, they had little strength and couldn't stay in place. It's useless. I should have trusted other bad reviews.

We are a family of four so we received four packages. I love that there is an extra hook on the back of each stocking. So if the world gets a little less crazy and we ever have guests, they won't feel out of place because we can hang up their stockings too. On my mantel the top bricks are on the sides so the brick clips don't work. Over the years I have used decorations or stones to attach the garland to the mantel. When I found them I thought they would work. I have several because they are regulated. In my chimney, all of the bricks are horizontal except for the top of the cowl, which is vertical.
