We love this scratching post! My cat Sam understood immediately. At first he was mesmerized by the dangling toy, then he realized how much fun it is to scratch the post. And in his free time he likes to lie on a fluffy pad in the shape of a paw. All in all it was a very nice addition to our household!

My oldest cat never uses a scratching post. For 12 years she always found something different. Now she and my younger cat are tearing it up. I will be ordering them again this year because they scratched the other one and are beyond repair. Which sounds bad. however, they caused much more damage to my furniture. It's cheap enough to replace the cable or just buy a new one.

Great thing! Assembly takes about 45 seconds. We adopted a mother cat and her kittens and the kittens love it. It's like a scene from King Kong where they're all fighting for the top of the tower. I expected the mouse to break after a day but it held up even when my 2 year old was pulling the rope. .I'm definitely impressed!

Brown matches its catwood, feels solid, easy to assemble, looks great and I'm happy with it. But 3 stars because my cat will have nothing to do with it. Normally he will attack ANY scratching post without hesitation. Used news, brand new, small, whatever. But not this one. 🤷‍♀️I'm keeping it to see if it gets warm after a little catnip treatment. If not, go to the cat shelter.

Thank goodness I was able to assemble this scratching post with the detailed instructions! (see photo) First I carefully sorted both parts. Second, I completed the step. Voila! Scratch tree!
