I wouldn't call it a dehumidifier, I would call it a big and noisy night light. I bought this for a small bedroom and it's so bad mold grew while the dehumidifier was running. Filling the tank takes several days even in the wettest conditions (heat waves and thunderstorms). It was a waste of money and time! I ended up having to buy a proper dehumidifier.

Worked 24 hours in an area of 500 sq. ft. Humidity started at 55% and ended at 55%. The device took a few ounces of water out of the air. In comparison, I use a Hisense unit (a $250 unit) in my workshop and occasionally bring it in here to reduce humidity. Running Hisense for 6 hours will lower the basement by up to 42% and fill its 6 gallon tank. It's a waste of $100.

I was attracted to this dehumidifier mainly because of its very attractive looks, some of the options look quite dated so I was glad to find this one. Since the water tank is clearly visible from the front, the current water level is very easy to see. And perhaps best of all, the tank is slightly larger than any others I've looked at, meaning I don't have to empty it as often. So this mannequin stuffed too much and almost burned a hole in the top right side. Luckily, after reading the reviews and sorting everything out, I figured out what I did before I completely ruined this item.
