The widest paracord for wrapping cables!

This 5/16 paracord is the widest paracord I've found and the only one I could run audio cables through. No other cable I tried fit my cable jacks. This one *just* fits into a straight 1/8" headphone jack. Now I have a tangle-free cable and I don't have to cut or solder any wires.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • old

Bad for use at sea; probably a good lasso

I bought a 5/16 inch rope. It is too stiff for marine use because: (A) it does not tie knots well. (B) It doesn't fit snugly against the cleat so it stays in place even when not under constant tension. (C) It's not soft enough to lay in storage compartments or hang on the included hook. I know their policy is "Full refund if not satisfied" but I'm not sure I'll ask them about it. I seem to have made my own unfortunate decision here.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Almost never

The Perfect Evolution of Paracord 750

I ordered 100ft strands of Multicam and Desert Camo, both 1/4 inch. It's legal! The rope is slightly stiffer than paracord 750 and significantly stiffer than standard paracord 550, making it very easy to wrap in 50 foot spools. It's not so stiff that it becomes difficult to tie knots as long as it feels absolutely perfect. It has the same type of outer weave as standard paracord, so there's plenty of friction to keep knots stable. Cutting and melting the ends of this rope is exactly the same as
