I've had a lot of experience with Gold Bond in the past but this one really hit me hard. I took the lotion and put it on my face and it turned very red. I've never had a reaction, so I didn't have that association. I tried again later, it happened and I realized that was probably the culprit. I had to double check because I'm stubborn and here I am since day five with a rash on my face and a woman who thinks (knows?) she married an idiot.

Updating my experience: A month after using this SPF several times, my eyebrows started falling out. The dermatologist advised me to stop using products that I was using. Almost 3 months later which was last week I stated that I would use it again and I had the same problem. Luckily I've only used it once, it's not that strong but they fall off when I wipe my face. Great product. Does the job WITHOUT the white pasty look. Even makes the skin brighter and more beautiful. I've found that I have to take a break every 3/4 days, but that's just my sensitive skin. Already in stock because I know how these superfoods are suddenly dying out.

I just started using face lotion after moving to a new state where the air is thinner and drier. The one I have used before was from Cremo and while great it was expensive and might take a while to get to you. It's much cheaper, thicker and more durable. I've been using it for a few months now, just use a small amount every morning to hydrate my face. As long as I stick to the regime and don't miss days, no peeling, no oily skin, nothing. Worth the money and I can only recommend it.

I have used other Gold Bond products with good results. But this face lotion caused skin and eye irritation. I applied the lotion to my forehead and cheeks after showering for two days. I noticed a slight reddening of the facial skin and a burning sensation and tears appeared in the eyes. My experience makes me wonder if I actually got the same product (I bought it from Revain and it shows what I got). I found the product NOT to absorb quickly (thankfully it's not greasy) and to have NO smell (read reviews where people say they like the smell). As others have said, it's like sunscreen when you put it on. The worst thing is that it irritates my eyes. On the plus side, it seems to moisturize well. I will continue to use it on hand only, but will not buy it again.
