Gold Hot GH9207 Professional Curling Review

This iron did not live up to my expectations. I owned it for about six years until someone else damaged it. Then I bought this one as a replacement but it doesn't heat up as fast as the first one. You don't make them the same. It will do its job by putting in a longer wait. The new design is terrible. Such a shame.

So DEF Gold is best for straighteners and mega hot makes curling faster. This iron also has a BIG spring/latch. There are problems - 1. this iron actually breaks after a few months or a few months - it stops heating. 2. Heat scale keeps warping during use (I taped mine over) 3. 500 IS is too hot, it will break your hair significantly and leave a burnt/dead smell - ugh! I like curling irons but they don't last long. I bought this iron in May 2018 and as I had problems with my previously purchased Gold m Hot irons and they stopped working after about a year I needed to see if the same happened with this iron. Well, it's September 8th, 2019 and today it's not working anymore. I don't use a curling iron every day, so don't blame it for overuse. Good product. while it works.

Just stopped heating for no reason. Less than a year has passed since the purchase. I don't use this iron hard. I've had other curling irons for literally years. Also, I never liked the temperature scale because it doesn't show degrees. The only thing I like is that the barrel is big.
