    Works the same as VGA monitor to HDMI desktop feeder

    My old VGA cable with VGA to HDMI adapter no longer works. After purchasing this HDMI to VGA cable, my monitor is now working properly. This applies to a computer with an HDMI port and a monitor with a VGA.

    Great value for money HDMI cable

    Bought for my son so he could borrow an old computer monitor to use with his Xbox at a friend's house. It didn't work initially, but lowering the Xbox output resolution did the trick on the old monitor. The cable works perfectly and is of high quality.

    Perfect for cables and connections

    I have an older model projector that doesn't have an HDMI port and a multifunction computer that doesn't have a VGA port. Well, this HDMI to VGA cable saves lives. I had to give a presentation and this cable performed admirably. Excellent video and sound quality. Good product.

    VGA to HDMI cable to video cable

    Bought a new laptop and wanted to use an older/much larger video monitor. The monitor has a VGA port, while the new laptop only has HDMI ports. This VGA to HDMI cable fits the bill and works great. The supplier provided the product at a great price and with fast delivery. Will definitely use this provider again.

    Allows the projector system to work with two monitors.

    When I first started looking for a replacement projector system for my church, I found that I had to use both the HDMI and video ports on my desktop computer to even try. As one port is HDMI it is not used, I needed a converter to convert it to VGA which works. So I found this cable, bought it here and installed it. Now I can work on the system before buying a VGA Y to connect to a projector. Great product, does exactly what I need. Very fast delivery, couldn't be happier.

    VGA to HTML or vice versa?

    I originally bought VGA to HTML cables and spent days getting them to work, even enlisting the help of the Revain community. No luck, it couldn't see the monitor. Then I started reading the specs over and over again. The "aha moment" and I realized I needed HTML to VGA. I ordered your product, connected the cables and my much larger monitor worked with my new laptop. Please note: new monitor for old laptop, you need VGA for HTML. From new laptop to old monitor, you need HTML to VGA cables

    OUT FROM HDMI IN TO old VGA monitor

    Very important - this cable allows you to connect an HDMI computer (desktop/laptop) to an old monitor that only has a VGA input. Not the other way around! Several people have bought this to connect an old machine to a newer monitor. This cable will not work. I made the mistake of buying this to connect my old Dell Optiplex to a newer LG 4K monitor. That does not work. The product description clearly states that it is only an HDMI -> VGA and not a bidirectional cable. My fault so I decided to

    Not dual monitor cable

    The cable (per se) does not provide dual monitor capability for a Dell XPS 15 HDMI to a Dell VGA monitor. Others who are more knowledgeable can suggest alternatives, add-ons, etc. But with cable alone, the XPS 15 doesn't see (recognize) the secondary monitor, even as it extends the main display. If the goal is just to duplicate the display on another, larger(?) screen, this will work.
