Looks great, very little spot lighting, bulb difficult to replace

4 stars because mounting with ring and glass below is difficult when changing bulb. The spotlight effect for our (admittedly mostly small) rooms is very small. The look and brightness is what you do with the bulbs put in.

Pros
  • Ceiling Lights
Cons
  • Weight

Has a great school industrial look

This was the perfect downlight for my retro kitchen. It has a nice industrial vintage look for a school building. It is very easy and simple to install. Gives a lot of light with two bulbs. The glass cover is tinted slightly turquoise so the bulbs inside are not visible when the light is off. Insanely good deal.

Pros
  • Embarrassing next to the ceiling lights

Needs work: Lighting and ceiling fans

The lamp is nice, it has real glass, but the installation details are poorly thought out. If you're a DIY enthusiast and don't have spare nuts, it might not be worth the headache. During installation I found that the nut that attaches the lamp to the junction box has a cap so you can't tighten it as much as is required for a flush ceiling mount. You need to remove everything and set up jbox. This is a big omission, the nut shouldn't have a back so you can adjust as needed.

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • Some insects
