I had to redesign a few framed hanging pictures so they stand on a horizontal surface. However, these inexpensive easel stands are only suitable for light objects such as small posters, plastic frames or thin metal frames. Heavier objects separate in just a day or two.

Ok - not as solid or as effective as I was hoping. I think they need a bigger triangle to provide more support and stability. When you fold one of these easels into shape, the triangle intended to hold the attached item is so flat that it can't support anything but a somewhat heavy piece of paper.

These easel backs are easy to attach with the included adhesive strips. As long as the little finger presses on the area containing the strip, they stay forever. After attaching the backs, the parts can be left in a horizontal position until installation. And unlike a review, they can be (gently) flattened again for transport. They could be reused either by placing a new sign on top of the previous one or by carefully removing the backing, but this would require new double sided tape.
