you get what you pay for;

Bought my first Christmas tree stand for the first living Christmas tree we've ever had. For years I have read stories of problems with tree stands - trees tipping over etc. I was determined to get around it all by looking at a quality stand and expecting to pay more for it. Well the premium price paid and I am very happy with it. Heavy, very strong, with a very large water tank, easy to assemble (assembly problems have rarely been reported, it is extremely easy to assemble, I don't know how to

It's Hercules among the trees. It is easy to assemble and very durable. It has four bolts that screw into the tree trunk for support to keep the tree stable. It has a couple of teeth on the underside, possibly a spike to hold on to the trunk. This will help keep the tree upright. It holds enough water, as long as you keep it filled a half inch or an inch below the studs you should be fine. It was easy to use a small tumbler to fill the tree with a mixture of water and tree food. At nearly $60…

It's "The One " on Coasters Under Trees

You hate those horrible coasters in stores, don't you? They are unstable, don't hold enough water and the stupid plastic threads on the screws come off too quickly. You bought at least three of these, then screamed when the last one fell to the bottom of the bin as you explained the non-Christmas words you hoped your daughter wouldn't hear. This has brought you here knowing that all stalls are crap and your quest for the holy grail of stalls will surely fail. This is the wooden stand you want…
