Works exactly as advertised - IF you can apply it without picking up dust particles which is almost impossible. It took me over an hour of meticulous trial and error as I walked, removing dust particles from the back of the film and the screen itself with clear tape to finally install the item with no trapped dust or bubbles. I can't tell what the protective film is on my laptop screen when I type this, except for air bubbles where there is debris that I didn't see and then removed with tape. Drop it! I don't understand why this isn't a manufacturer option. I've had Screen Ward on my new laptop for about a week and I love it so much! It does a great job of turning my highly reflective laptop screen into a matte screen. A few notes: Attaching the screen requires patience and accuracy. Give yourself plenty of time.
