The bags work very well and I am happy with them. Although they weren't advertised as recyclable, I did reuse some of the bags. The score was lower because the portion of plastic over the self-locking latch wasn't as consistent as the others and was harder to open. This area really tore me up, but only a few. Overall I think the product is great and for the price you can't beat it. I put snack nuts, decorations and daily pills in the bags. The self-locking worked great to keep the items inside.

They are PERFECT for what we use them for which is geocaching. Big enough for a medium sized log, tracked or SWAG. 2M thickness protects contents from moisture without being too bulky to fold up when needed. We have previously ordered a smaller zipped bag and found it to be too small to handle. This time we learned from our mistake and ordered a larger 3X4 inch. We didn't need 1,000 or 10,000 of these packs, so 100 was just what we needed. In addition, the customer service from the supplier was

Handy little bags with good closure. I would NOT use them for small rough parts as 2 mil is a fairly thin material which I'm afraid would crack if anything other than soft or flat (dies are perfect but drywall screws NO-NO). I would prefer to buy heavier bags that I can use for both flat and chunky items (3, 4, or 6 mil bags). Buy thicker plastic if you're worried like me.
