Not perfect, but not bad.

Nice little container but the bottom is not flat. fluctuations. Not enough to risk a tip, but it's a bit annoying.

It does its job justice: Dishes

I need the pot for iced tea. I've seen some complaints about the lid not sealing and leaking when pouring, but it works great if you hold the lid with one hand like you should with this type of jug.

Not quite ½ gallon for serveware

These pitchers are fine. They are not true 1/2 gallons. And the lid is a bit difficult to remove; especially when the ability to grasp the fingers is reduced. Also, even in the "closed" position, the lid is not airtight at all. (I wouldn't leave them to men and children!) Despite these shortcomings, and knowing the shortages, it allows me to prepare teas and other beverages as substitutes for those occasions when endless alcohol is needed! 🙂

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Empty

Cheap for a plain jug

This would be perfect if the 2 liter line wasn't above the bottom of the lid. In other words, if you make a full 2 liters, the bottom of the lid will be in the liquid when you put it in the jug. So if you're not careful, some can squirt out very easily. We mainly use it for iced tea, so it doesn't really matter if we don't fill it all the way to the top. For the price, it's a small downside, so not a big issue. We order a second one so that there is a selection in the fridge.

Nice pitcher!

I have used this jug about 10 times and it has also been in the dishwasher 10 times. Holds up great! I have used all three orifices and they all work as described. I've had no issues with leaking, warping in the dishwasher, and it doesn't leave any off-flavors on liquids. For $4 you can't beat this! I recommend and will buy more! It's not the heaviest thing on the market, but it does the job perfectly!

NEVER AGAIN at Serving dishes

I needed a jug with a lid and I found it on your site. It was advertised as holding up to 1/2 gallon and had a four-way cap that kept it closed, free flow, an ice filter, or a pulp strainer. It was exactly what I wanted. However, when the jug arrived at my house, it was just a jug and NO LID IN THE PACKAGE. This is definitely NOT what I ordered. I would like to either get the cover as soon as possible or return it for a refund and order from someone else. I am definitely an unhappy and…

Definitely the best in the range

This is my third plastic jug with lid and I'm so glad I found it. There are two jugs in the picture above, one from Rubbermaid, one from a restaurant worker, and both are EXTREMELY difficult to open or take the lid off, especially once they've been in the fridge and the plastic seems to be shrinking. This guy has a square top rather than a round one and the jug doesn't hold the lid as well which is fantastic because every time you want a drink you open the jug with a butter knife. Not perfect…

Easier to clean. in carafes and jugs

I have long wanted to find a reusable jug without all those little cracks in the lids. I've found that kids don't take the time to clean them properly - they pick up mold in those little spots. I keep a few cotton swabs (cotton swabs) in a drawer for cleaning small areas. I don't have that problem with them. I like the lid with 3 different pouring holes. I also like that the lid doesn't snap into place. Also that's a childish thing, when they make drinks the lids don't close tightly. Yes, of…
