I chose lavender for my Oreck vacuum cleaner bags. It seemed to me that the recommended 2-3 scoops weren't enough, so next time I'll double the dose. I think the more you clean your dog's coat the better.

If you are looking for a short-term room air freshener, Good Home Crystals will meet your needs. If you're looking for a traditional carpet deodorant, Good Home Crystals isn't for you. Did what I needed. I have a pet so my vacuum smells awful every time it's used. I prefer to spray the product on the floor to soak it up rather than pouring it into the filter area. So for me it's very simple, the smell isn't overpowering at all (so I'm wondering if it's affected by the amount used as some of the reviews I've read have complained about this issue.) and my vacuum cleaner no longer smells when in use. .

I bought two packs of these "Crystals" for a carpet in my apartment and I am very happy about them. The reason I bought them is the bad warnings about using fine powder in a vacuum cleaner. I received it two days ago and followed the directions on how to apply it to the carpet and leave it on for about half an hour. They smelled great the first time I put them on the carpet, but after thirty minutes I didn't smell at all! What a waste of money!
